Im Jahr 2000 hat Jose Antonio Costa Marques, Unternehmer aus Frankfurt am Main, entschieden, zwei Hektar Fläche in der Gemeinde Silgueiros zu erwerben, um qualitativ hochwertige Weine zu erzeugen. Silgueiros ist der Geburtsort seiner Vorfahren und eine Subregion im Weinanbaugebiet Dao. 2004 gründete er das Familienunternehmen CM Wines und erwarb durch diverse Zukäufe weitere erstklassige Einzellagen. Heute erstreckt sich die Fläche auf insgesamt zwölf Hektar Rebland, verteilt auf fünf separate Parzellen und zwei Hektar Olivenhaine.

Im Glas zeigt der Wein seine wunderschöne rubinrote Farbe, dazu eine verführerische duftige Nase nach Weichselkirschen. Am Gaumen weich und rund mit feinen Tanninen. Elegante Struktur mit zarten Fruchtaromen nach roten Beeren. Ein sehr schöner Wein!
