Matt Gant und John Restas sind 2 Weinverrückte, die seit ein paar Jahren einfach grandiose Weine aus dem Barossa Valley erzeugen. Eine große Portion „Fun“ bekommt man auf jeden fall mit jeder Flasche! Die Weine sind aber nicht nur cool. Die beiden Weinmacher legen Wert auf Qualität. Sie besitzen Parzellen in den besten Lagen in Barossa, Adelaide Hills, und McLaren Vale. Vom Urspünglichen Ziel den besten Shiraz aus Barossa zu Keltern (Sie sind schon auf dem besten Weg!) ist ein Weingut gewachsen, das mittlerweile eine außergewöhnlich Palette an Rebsorten anbaut und Spitzenweine daraus keltert, ohne  das Grundprinzip von Spaß, Lockerheit und „Drinkability“ aus dem Auge zu verlieren. 

 

Hier ist mal wirklich etwas anderes! Montepulciano -  die für kräftige Rotweine bekannte Rebsorte aus den Abruzzen - neu Interpretiert! Wirklich Down Under! Kräftig, würzig und reichhaltig. Der Jahrgang 2011 zeigt mittlerweile einige reifere Noten aberJugendliche Frucht ist immer noch sehr präsent. Die Wein besitzt also eine hohe Komplexität, ohne kompliziert zu sein! Absolut empfehlenswert!
